Recap

Baylor dominated Kansas State from the opening drive, with Nick Florence leading an explosive offensive attack that overwhelmed the Wildcats' defense. The Bears struck first with a 38-yard touchdown pass to Tevin Reese, then added rushing touchdowns from Florence and Glasco Martin in the first quarter to establish early control. Kansas State kept pace early with Collin Klein's touchdown passes, but Baylor's superior execution on third down (10-15 conversions) and dominant ground game (342 rushing yards) proved decisive as they built an insurmountable lead. Two interceptions of Klein, including one returned 18 yards by Sam Holl, stalled Kansas State drives at critical moments, while Baylor's balanced attack and turnover margin advantage sealed the belt transfer with the convincing 52-24 victory.
