Recap
Oklahoma State's defense dominated Baylor from start to finish, holding the Bears to just 204 total yards and six points in a 34-6 belt retention. After Baylor struck first with a Jacoby Jones touchdown run in the first quarter, Oklahoma State answered immediately with Keith Toston's own touchdown and never looked back. The Cowboys' offense found its rhythm through Zac Robinson's arm, with Dez Bryant becoming a constant nightmare for Baylor's secondary -- he hauled in touchdown passes of 37 and 9 yards in the second quarter alone, with a 52-yard completion in the third quarter setting up another scoring drive. By the time Dan Bailey's second field goal extended the lead to 34-6 in the fourth quarter, the outcome had been decided well before the final whistle.
- Zac Robinson to Dez Bryant, 37-yard TD pass in Q2 -- Oklahoma State broke the game open with this explosive completion that put the Cowboys up 21-6
- Keith Toston's two rushing touchdowns in Q1 and Q2 -- the Cowboys' ground game established early dominance and set the tone for the blowout
- Dez Bryant's 52-yard reception in Q3 -- set up another Oklahoma State scoring drive that put the game completely out of reach
- Baylor's lone touchdown in Q1 -- the Bears' only answer to Oklahoma State's offensive onslaught, showing their offense was unable to keep pace
