Tournament of Belt Champions

March 1st, 2008

With the annoucement of the Belt TOC, we have the opportunity to see who might hold the title as the best of the champions.  I would expect each of the top seeds (2001 Miami, 2004 Southern Cal, 1997 Nebraska, & 1999 Florida State) to roll through their opening battles.  I am interested to see how the 1996 Brigham Young team compares with the other champions.  I think the most likely upset in the openers is 1998 Texas over 2003 Ohio State.  I believe the Buckeyes will have a difficult time handling the Longhorns rushing attack led by Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams.
